This painting describes the serpent as the Creation among many aboriginal tribes throughout Australia. The serpent travels over the land creating mountains, rivers, and valleys. The old spirit men represent the creation of language, tribal boundaries, and dreaming tracks.

This painting describes a warrior waiting patiently for the right moment as he plans to hunt the Kangaroo within the Kamilaroi boundaries.
